How to Configure Membership Subscription Cycles and Renewal Actions

Learn how to configure your client’s subscription and membership renewal cycles, which will affect how often and what happens when your client’s memberships are renewed.
Easily set your preferred subscription cycles and membership renewals and automate email notifications when payment is due. Your client can quickly pay their fees online based on your Payment Policy, and options can be set to your booking page to collect Weekly, Monthly, or Yearly.
AOT memberships are fully customizable, which means, you can name each category based on your preference. To easily identify membership packages and membership subscriptions based on their label.

How it Works
Simply follow the steps below to configure your membership subscription cycles and renewal action.

1. Go to Memberships and click My Subscriptions.
2. From the Membership Page, click Redemption Details.
3. On the Redemption Method, choose how the customers can redeem the package and set the redemption value or limit. Learn more about the Redemption Method.

4. Go to Cycles and select the Number of Cycles from the drop-down menu. This will indicate the total number of times the subscription will be renewed.
Note: If set to “Forever Until Cancelled,” the membership will renew indefinitely until it is canceled.
5. Go to Renewals and select the subscription renewal action from the drop-down menu. Click Next.
Note: Subscription renewal can be set in the following actions:
- Reset: Membership subscription will immediately reset at the next billing date.
- Rollover: Unused credits will be rolled over and added to the next billing date.
- None: Renewal of package is unavailable.
PRO TIP: Rollover of unused credits on subscription renewals to their members is only available on AOT paid tiers. Learn more.
6. You will be redirected to the Select Services section. Add Categories and Services that will be eligible for the membership. Click Next.
7. You will be redirected to the Booking Page section. Once everything is confirmed, click Save.
NOTES:
- In the Privacy section, you can include the membership on your Customer Booking Page in Public or Private.
- In the Booking Page section, use this option to offer and share this service with your clients for bookings by embedding the code to your website or share the standalone membership link.
8. Once completed, the subscription and renewal cycles will be shown in your My Subscription category.
