Cancel Membership Packages, Subscriptions and Archive a Client

This guide will walk you through how to cancel or terminate your client memberships, such as packages and subscriptions, and archive a client.

Canceling a package or subscription service you no longer need became much easier with Always on Time (AOT.plus).


Read to learn what the cancellation configuration looks like, some important considerations, and what happens to your client memberships and account once the cancellation is complete.

General Configuration

Canceling a Membership Package or Subscription

  1. Go to Clients on the AOT sidebar and select the client you want to cancel the membership. You can also use the Search Box at the top.
  2. You will be redirected to the Client Dashboard; go to the Membership tab and select the Membership plan you want to cancel.
  3. Click Cancel. A warning message will appear to confirm the cancellation of membership. Next, click the Yes, I want to cancel button. 

4. A confirmation message will appear for the successful cancellation of membership. Click Okay. 

5. The status of the client membership will change from Active to Cancelled, and if the client opts to cancel all membership plan(s) status from the Client Dashboard will be changed from Current Member to Non-Member. 

Archiving a Client

  1. Go to Clients on the AOT sidebar, select the client you want to cancel your membership, and click the trash bin icon.
  2. A warning prompt message for the cancellation of membership will appear. Click the Confirm button.
  3. A confirmation message will appear for successful client archiving. Click Got it, Thanks! 

View and Generate Membership Report

  1. Go to Reports on your sidebar, and go to the Membership Status tab.
  2. Filter status to view all canceled membership packages and subscription plans.
  3. Click Apply Filters. Users can also generate the report by clicking the Export the Excel button.

Important Notes 

  • The client needs to contact the business directly to request the cancellation of their membership packages and subscription plan(s).
  • Any payment made (if any) has not been refunded. Contact the business directly to process any refund.
  • If your client wishes to reactivate their membership plan(s), they need to contact the business directly to request their membership plan(s) reactivation.
  • When a client is archived, all auto payments and auto emails stop. Contact the AOT Support Team to recover your clients, services, memberships, and other deleted items.
